   I love using pottery as a form to add sculpture to; whether it be carved or added onto the surface of the piece. Surface decoration can include colored slips, engobes and various glaze firing techniques like salt, raku and pit fire. There is something so viceral and satisfying when my hands get into 'the mud'.
